This oriental-flavoured side dish goes so well with steak and mash potatoes. These are incredibly simple and easy to make with only a handful of ingredients.
Here is the easy recipe which you can whip up in 5 minutes!
1 Tbsp of White Sesame Seeds
1 Tbsp of Cooking Oil
1 pound of Asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2″ pieces
2 Cloves Garlic, minced
2 Tbsp of Soy Sauce
1 tsp of Sesame Oil
1) Toast sesame seeds in a pan over medium heat until lightly golden, then remove from pan and set aside.
2) Increase heat to high in same pan, add oil and let it get nice and hot. Add the asparagus and fry for 1 minute.
3) Add the garlic, cook another minute, add soy sauce and sesame oil, saute for about 10 seconds and remove from the heat.
4) Serve asparagus in a dish and sprinkle over the toasted sesame seeds.
